Challenge: capture a sense of wintery coziness in a studio environment, while maintaining a clean backdrop. The photographs also demanded a level of visual impact that would harmonize well with the substantial text overlays used in holiday promotions.
We used a warm, neutral seamless backdrop and dressed our model in lots of cozy knits and warm puffers. The resulting photographs exude warmth and comfort despite their studio setting.

ROLE: ASSISTANT ART DIRECTOR

The Fall product line included many functional details, such as convertibility, that needed to be represented. This photoshoot took place remotely in Bali, which presented two challenges: how to ensure the functional nuances were accurately shown, and how to evoke a North American autumnal atmosphere despite taking place in Bali’s lush jungles during the month of August.
I meticulously outlined styling prerequisites for each shot on the shoot sheet. Our producer found a boutique resort in the mountains with lots of warm woods and stone, perfectly infusing the shoot with some necessary fall ambiance.
